Chuck was a lifelong friend, generous husband, and devoted father. His humor, his compassion, and his sparkling eyes made our lives richer. Chad had the privilege of over 50 years of friendship, and we had over 30 years of friendship as couples and young families. We will cherish all memories of the birthday parties, OSU games, vacations, concerts, dinners, graduations, and holiday celebrations. Our families were intertwined in so many ways. We laughed together, and we cried together. Even though our hearts are broken; Chad and I know without a shadow of a doubt, Chuck is in heaven. We WILL see him again one day. "We do not grieve or mourn as those who have no hope." (I Thess. 4:13, b)
We will sorely miss you.
Rest in peace, beloved friend.

He had a terrific sense of humor and a great talent for teaching, leading and guiding. My prayers are with his family and the entire Simpson team. May God Bless, Suzanne O'Brien

My most sincere condolences. Chuck was a special light that drove out the darkness in a dimming world. Every conversation was the brightest moment of that day. He was a dear friend to me and all who were lucky enough to have regular interaction with him. He will be missed by many, but especially by all us with whom he shared his wisdom and wit.
Rest In Peace dear friend.

My prayers and thoughts are with you all today and forever. Chuck's humor, story telling, tenacity for life and his job and his love for the Buckeyes and Packers will be missed dearly. In the game of life, we can get dealt some bad cards-it's how we play them that let's people know our demeanor. Chuck wasn't about to let this get him, God just decided that he needed him more. God bless him and hold him.
