I am so sorry to hear about Vernell. She was my head cook for years at Wyandot Manor and we shared so many good times. Lots of laughter and swimming and going to Gloria Marshall's in Marion and just spending time together. Always helping me out and supporting me with work and in my personal life. Will miss her smile and laughter. R.I.P. Vernell till we meet again!!!

So very sorry for your loss. My mother, Edith Phipps, worked with Vernell for several years. They became good friends. I hope they are now able to reconnect their friendship. I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

So Sorry to hear about the passing of Vernell. I have good memories of the Freshour Families while visiting my Grandma Ruth Bridge in Harpster. Bill Veach, son of Bonnie Bridge Veach and the late Gayle Veach. Brainard,Nebraska.
