Dear Goldie, We are so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. We also want to say that we are thinking of all of you and keeping you in prayer. Lisa, you are, of course, on my mind as I worked with you. Becky, we don't know if you remember, but you babysat for our children so we could get out of the house for an evening. Again, our prayers are with you Goldie and all of your family.

Jeff and I worked with Dave at the Water Works during our summer vacations. One day we were painting a concrete wall green and Dave started teasing us. I picked up the can of paint and told him if he came closer I would throw it at him. He did and I did and he was covered in green paint. We got along great after that. Please accept our condolences.

I am very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We live on North Hazel Street beside the building he had built and just recently sold to Dave Kennedy. Dave was a good man and will be missed by many. My husband, also named David, passed away in 2004, he and Mr. Huffman could always get a good talk going on. :)
I have 2 sons, Tyler now 21 & Joey now 18, who Dave always made a point to stop and talk to is they were outside playing while they were little. Dave was so good with them and they looked forward to talking to him.
God Bless you all as you travel this difficult road.

Goldie and all you precious children and grandchildren, He is with the Lord. Him and I were like brothers an sister.. He did try to drown me once and shut me in Grandma Schindler's garage and yellow jackets stung me all over. I had to sit in Grandma Huffman's house for week. I will really miss him. Be strong for each other.

Jan Clendenen, Edna's daughter, me, I am niece of Uncle Dale..
