William ( Bill ) Clay Ferst, loving husband and father of two, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the age of 62, after his battle with cancer at the Bridge Findlay Hospice Care Center, Findlay, Ohio.
Bill was born in Kenton, on November 12, 1958. He attended Tiffin Columbian High. On September 28, 1985, he married Pam Forman. They were happily married for 36 years and had two adored sons.
Bill is survived by his wife, Pam, and his two children, Wyatt and Jesse, and a grandson JC, all from rural Carey. He also leaves behind his sister, Willow Towne, of Galion, and her two children, Chris and Jaime, along with many other loving family members and friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Avonelle Ferst.
Bill was known as the " firewood guy " around Wyandot County. He worked for Blanchard Valley Co-Op for many years. He took pride in his land and was very involved with Cub Scouts.
Viewing will be at Lucas-Batton funeral home, in Upper Sandusky on Saturday, March 13th, from 12-2 pm, with the funeral immediately following and will be officiated by Chaplain Steve Sturgeon. Friends and family are welcome. The burial to follow at Otterbein Cemetery.
