Samantha J. England, age 36, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 28, 2022, at her home in Upper Sandusky.
Samantha was born on April 23, 1985, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Raymond and Donna (Leathem) England, both survive and are living in Nevada.
She is survived by her siblings, Carolyn, Chris and Summer England of Richwood, Paul (Terri) England of Nevada, and Desiree (David) Lynden of Mukwonago, Wisconsin. Nephews and nieces, Ian (Jessica) England, Hailee England, Cheyenne England, Josiah, Micah, and Jordan Lynden, along with great nephew Ezra England, and her best friend Toshia Hamrick.
Samantha is also survived by family friends, Bob, Breyanna, and Gabriella Stone, and her favorite dog, Charlie Bear.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frances and Isa Pearl England, maternal grandparents, Clarence and Georgene Leathem, and her maternal great grandfather Sam Bruce, of which she was named after.
Samantha was a 2003 graduate of Wynford High School and went on to graduate bachelor of arts in English from the Ohio State University. She had worked for Walmart in Upper Sandusky for 7 years.
She loved her family and friends dearly. She was a beautiful artist and loved the color purple, and watching anime, along with watching the show, “Lost”, playing the video game “Legend of Zelda”, solving mystery games, and enjoying listening to country music.
Funeral services for Samantha England will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Nevada cemetery.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, February 6, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Masks are encouraged to be worn by those attending along with purple colored clothing.
