Robert L Parker

Robert L. Parker, age 69, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 10:24pm in the emergency room at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

Bob was born on January 13, 1953 in Bucyrus to Edgar “Bud” Parker and Mary (Louis) Parker Frost, both of whom are deceased. He married Carol Bursa on December 15, 1979 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and she survives.

He is survived by his 3 children, Robin (Jason) Keller of Erie, Pennsylvania, Ted Parker and Tim Parker, both of Bucyrus. 3 grandchildren, Logan, Ellie and Chloe Keller. Along with a brother Gary (Teresa) Parker of Bucyrus, and a sister Kim Frost of Nevada.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, and mother, stepfather Theodore “Ted” Frost, a brother Allen Parker, and 2 sisters, Barbara Parker and Debbie Grasley.

He was a 1971 graduate of Wynford High School and went on to work for ESCO Bucyrus Blades, retiring after 45 years of service.

Bob was of the Lutheran faith and was a former member of the Bucyrus Moose 669.

For hobbies he enjoyed collecting old postcards for Bucyrus and Crawford County, along with following the Green Bay Packers and the Cleveland Guardians.

A memorial service for Bob Parker will be held at 2:00pm Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held 1 hour before service time on Friday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky.
