Robert "Bob" H. Kelly

Robert “Bob” Hosea Kelly, of Harpster, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Bob was born in Logan County, Ohio, on December 18, 1934, to Hosea L. and Erma R. (Chapman) Kelly. He married Norma Jean Smith at Bethany Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on May 28, 1954, and she survives in Harpster.

Bob is survived by 3 daughters, Debra Jean Barth, Cynthia Ann (David) Holt, and Kathryn Sue Davidson. Along with 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, James H. Kelly and Burton E. Kelly, and his son in law Douglas M. Barth.

Bob graduated from Upper Sandusky High School, and he worked for Mills-Bradley Co. until he retired after 45 years of service.

Bob was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Upper Sandusky. He enjoyed going fishing and boating on Lake Erie, playing softball in his younger years, and mowing his yard. Indian Mill was always special to Robert.

Most importantly, Bob loved spending time with his grandchildren.

A graveside service for Robert “Bob” Kelly will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Old Mission Cemetery, and will be officiated by Rev. Ken Wessler.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pitt Twp. Vol. Fire Department or First Presbyterian Church and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
