Robert D. Cooper

Robert D. Cooper, age 69, of Forest, Ohio, passed away at 11:56 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio.

Robert was born on July 6, 1952, in Hardin County, Ohio, to Dale Cooper and Helen Pope and they preceded him in death. He married Patricia A. Forney on August 28, 1971, and she survives in Forest.

Robert survived by his four children: Scott Cooper of Forest, Jim (Danielle) Cooper of MI, Joe (Amanda) Cooper of Mt. Blanchard, Jon (Rachel) Cooper of Findlay, eight grandchildren: Haley Cooper, Alexis Cooper, Hannah Cooper, Madison Cooper, Carter Cooper, Bradley Vucco, Andrew Vucco, and Skylea Vucco, and his sister Ann (Harry) Launder of Forest.

Robert has been in farming for 60 years starting at the age of 9 helping his Dad on the family farm.

He served in the National Guard for 6 years, and he attended the County Line Church of the Brethren in Harrod.

Robert enjoyed going camping in his later years and spending time with his grandchildren.

A funeral for Robert Cooper will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Pastor Tom Dearth. Burial will follow at Hueston Cemetery in Forest.

Visitations for Robert will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
