Mary Lou Clark, age 67, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 11:34am at Heartland of Bucyrus, Ohio.
Mary Lou was born on January 5, 1951 in Wyandot County, Ohio to Donald W. and Loretta V. (Frey) Quail, both of whom are deceased, and is survived by her stepmother Marlene Quail of Carey. She married James Michael Clark on September 11, 1992 and he survives in Bucyrus.
She is survived by her children: Sheila (Heath) Mathews of Top Sail, North Carolina, Christine Lawrence of Marion, Ohio, Sharon Pelfrey of Forest, John Thornton of Ashland, Kentucky, Jeff Thornton of Upper Sandusky, and Gregory Thornton of Ashland, Kentucky. 8 grandchildren, Dorian and Sierra Mathews, Rylie, Harmony and Jaxon Bayless, Zander Drake, Myles Jones, and Brittany Thornton.
Mary Lou is also survived by her brother, Danny W. (Violet) Quail of Forest, her sister Pam (Russell) Swartz of Forest, and her step sister Jodi Lydick of Carey.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tim and Gary Quail.
Mary Lou was employed for 27 years at Liqui-Box in Upper Sandusky.
She was a 1969 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion Post #181 in Bucyrus.
Mary Lou enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, playing computer games along with “games of chance”, and spending time with her chihuahua dogs, Carmel, Pepper and Chubs.
Funeral services for Mary Lou Clark will be held at 1:00pm February 1, 2018 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Oceola Cemetery.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
