Marsena F. Adams

Marsena F. Adams, age 68, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

Marsena was born on April 11, 1952 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Elbert and Georgia Juanita (Armstrong) Easter, both of whom are deceased.  She was married to Albert S. Adams, and he passed away on August 4, 2003.

She is survived by a daughter, Dana Newland of Nevada, and 2 grandchildren, David and Brodie Newland.  A brother, David (Tammy) Easter of Chatfield, and 3 sisters, Mae Brewster of Nevada, Kay Huston of Marion, and Beth (Paul) Houseburg of Nevada, along with a brother in law, Paul Brewster of Carrothers, along with  many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister Jean Ann Brewster. 

Marsena retired from the former Continental Hose/Dana Corp. in Upper Sandusky after 27 years.  

She was very artistic and creative, and loved to oil paint.  She enjoyed science fiction and was a collector of unicorns, and she also was a lover of animals, especially dogs.

A memorial service for Marsena F. Adams will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. 

Visitations will be held 1 hour before service time on Thursday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home. 

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, and or the Canine Companions for Independence and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio  43351.
