Marilyn Kathleen “Kat” Landrum, age 51, of Upper Sandusky Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 4:50pm at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
Kathy was born on January 14, 1969 in Tiffin, Ohio to Thomas and Marilyn J. (Plott) Barnett. She married Edward Landrum on June 16, 2000 and he survives.
She is survived by a son Troy Landrum of Upper Sandusky. A sister Beverly (Charles) Walton of Upper Sandusky, and 4 brothers: Charles Heffelfinger, Sr. of Arcadia, Russell “Rusty” Heffelfinger, Jr. of Carey, Gerald “Butch” Heffelfinger of Carey, Tom Barnett of Findlay, and Andrew Barnett of Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Michael “Porky” Barnett, and 2 sisters, Cheryl Leeth and Lisa Kuenzli.
Kathy was employed with Kasai North America Upper Sandusky Plant.
She graduated in 1988 from Carey High School where she played softball from 1985 to 1988 and where she currently holds the record for most career RBI’s.
For hobbies she enjoyed fishing, cooking, camping, following “3 Streets Over Band” and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye football fan.
Due to the restrictions because of the COVID 19 the funeral services for Kathy will be private with a graveside service to be held at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville.
