Larry Lee Turner

Larry Lee Turner, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at 2:35 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home.

Larry was born on March 30, 1944, in Portland, Indiana, to William and Edith (Arnold) Turner and they preceded him in death. He married Donna Sherfy on October 6, 2006, and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

Larry is also survived by his daughter Torie (Jeff) Cordell and his son Troy Turner both of Portland, Indiana. Larry is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, his sister Sonya (J.R.) Moore of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry graduated from high school and enlisted in the United States Army. He worked as an oil salesman for Shell, and various other companies for 27 years until he retired.

Larry enjoyed going fishing, drag racing his car, and playing games on his computer. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and most importantly, he loved his family.

A service for Larry will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Military honors will be conducted by the Upper Sandusky Color Guard.

Visitations for Larry will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service.
