Joyce Dianne Walton

Joyce Dianne Walton, age 84, passed away on Sunday morning, November 13, 2022, at her home in Upper Sandusky.

Joyce was born on May 22, 1938, in Wyandot County, Ohio, to Harold and Marjorie (King) Whitman. She was married to William J. Walton on September 13, 1959, and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2020.

Joyce is survived by her 4 children: Virginia (Kevin) Reddick of Upper Sandusky, Jonathan (Dee) Walton of Upper Sandusky, Frederick Walton of Upper Sandusky, and Stephan (Tara) Walton of Kansas.  18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren, along with her brother Wayne (Flo) Whitman of Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, and her sister Marilyn Brown.

Joyce graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1956 and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Church in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies, she enjoyed traveling, flying, and horseback riding.

A memorial service for Joyce Walton will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Trinity Evangelical Church in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Rev. Jim Stauffer.

Visitations will be held from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the church prior to the service on Friday.
