Joseph Stowe, age 59, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, in Burns Harbor, Indiana.
Joe was born in Bucyrus, Ohio, on June 29, 1962, to Everett Stowe Sr., and Thelma Jean (Dunham) Stowe. He is survived by his loving partner Lenora Conn.
Joe is survived by his children Keleigh Stowe, and Joseph Stowe II, 3 grandchildren: Charlie Stowe, Angel Taylor, and Misty Taylor. Joe is also survived by his other children, although not by blood, Eric Bloomfield and Sonia Fry and grandchildren: Destiny Bloomfield, Eric Bloomfield Jr., Toni Mathews, and Jasmine Aguire, his brothers Bill Stowe, Frank Stowe, Verne Stowe, and Donald Stowe, and his sister Opal (Richard) Vehrs.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children Donna Stowe, and his brothers Robert “Bobby” Stowe, and Everett Stowe Jr.
Joe was a truck driver for most of his life, most recently employed by Kuhnle Brothers Trucking, and he was a very hard-working man.
Joe loved following the Michigan Wolverines football team, cooking, camping, and spending time with his family. Joe was a man with a big heart who knew no stranger. He would do anything for anyone at any time.
A funeral service for Joseph Stowe will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Eli Yoder. Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery.
Visitations for Joe will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 22, 2021, at the funeral home.
