John Phillip Grasley Jr., age 66, of Upper Sandusky and formerly of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away on November 2, 2020 in Marion, Ohio.
John was born on July 6, 1954, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to John P. Grasley Sr. and Anne Tarlten both of whom preceded him in death. John married Arlene Page on October 18, 1977 and she survives in Upper Sandusky.
John is also survived by his 5 children: Travis Grasley of Dayton, Michelle Grasley-Webb of Bucyrus, Joseph (Melinda) Grasley of Crestline, Heather (Joey) Grasley of Bucyrus, and Christopher (Chelsea) Grasley of Upper Sandusky, along with 14 grandchildren: Maddie, Brae, Skye, Aacin, Ian, Alec, Alyssa, Jaden, Jojo, Desirae, Felicity, Isiah, Noelle, and Nicholas, and 4 great grandchildren: Javeah, Jadden, Jojo, and Xavier. John is also survived by his sister Christine Welty of Upper Sandusky.
John was preceded in death by his brother Larry Grasley.
John worked construction his whole life, working for AAA Interiors, DND Construction, Loss Creek and many others over the years.
For hobbies John enjoyed golfing, fishing, and in his later years spending time with his grandchildren – especially taking them to the park.
A celebration of life gathering for John Grasley will be held from 4:00PM – 7:00PM on Friday, November 13, 2020, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
