Isabella Melina Wallen, age 14, of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at her home in Fostoria, as a result of a house fire.
Isabella was born on June 27, 2007, at Columbus, Ohio, to her parents, Curtis L. Wallen of Columbus, and Sara Peelman-Moore of Fostoria. She is also survived by her siblings, Emily Phillips of Michigan, Anya Moore of Fostoria, Kimberlee Wallen of Delaware, Breanna Wallen of Delaware, and Gabriel Gurney of Sandusky. Along with her paternal grandparents, Fred and Dee Wallen of Gahanna, and maternal grandmother, Carla Peelman of Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Michael Peelman, maternal great grandparents, Fred and Wanda Markley, paternal great grandmother Gloria Wallen, and paternal great aunt, Veronica Wallen.
Isabella was in the 8th grade with the ODELA homeschool program. She enjoyed a wide variety of music, along with Japanese Anime, and was also into fashion, such as steampunk, gothic, and Victorian clothing. She had an artistic mind and enjoyed painting, writing, creating TikTok videos, along with being extremely passionate about animals, human rights, and women’s rights.
She will be remembered for her loving heart, always willing to help her family and friends, all of whom she loved so much. She will be greatly missed!
Funeral services for Isabella Wallen will be held at 1:00pm Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will take place at Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria.
Visitations will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Monday, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
