Henry “Cowboy” F. Booze, age 73, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.
Henry was born on May 3, 1947, in Grants Pass, Oregon, to William and Anna (Hohlfelder) Booze. He was married to Rena Ann Stepp and she preceded him in death. Henry was remarried to Janis Spitler on October 18, 1997 at Rock Run Church of God in Upper Sandusky, and she survives.
Henry is survived by his son James (Darlene) Booze of Nelsonville, his step son Donald (Sandy) Kemerley of Bettsville, two daughters; Lisa Womelsdorf of Oregon, and Angela Clark of Virginia, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, his brother Dean Booze of Washington, and 4 sisters; Vonnie McCleary of Redding, CA, Billie Haynes of Arkansas, Mae Sheets, and Kathleen Pierce both of Oregon.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Rena Ann Stepp, (his brother Jim Booze and sister Mary Caudill.
Henry attended Apostolic Gospel Church in Upper Sandusky for 23 years where he was a member of the Golden Nugget Club. Henry was also a member of the Wyandot County Senior Citizens Club, and The Hope Group at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
Henry had a love for horses and was a cowboy at heart. He liked Henry Guns and enjoyed watching Old Westerns. He loved his Siamese cat named Levi, and enjoyed antique cars.
A memorial service for Henry Booze will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Apostolic Gospel Church in Upper Sandusky with Pastor Rodney Donohoo officiating.
Visitations will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday prior to the service at the Church.
