Frank Ross Jr.

Frank Ross Jr., age 84, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Findlay Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio.

Frank was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 23, 1936, to Frank Ross Sr., and Daisy (Paul) Ross. Frank was married to Anna Mae for 53 years and she preceded him in death on January 2, 2006. Frank was remarried to Phyllis Myers and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

Frank is survived by four children: Debra (Mark) Wertman of Newport, TN, Denise Tarnowski of Revenna, OH, Deanna (Ronald) Bailey of Akron, OH, and Frank Ross III of Ravenna, OH, four stepchildren: Robert (Chris) Myers of Nevada, OH, Debra (Bill) Simmons, Kevin (Lynn) Myers, and Roger (Tracie) Myers all of Upper Sandusky, OH, along with 29 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Frank is also survived by his sister MaryAnn Allison.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Darlene Bailey, son in law Theodore Tarnowski, two granddaughters; Jennifer Wertman Collier and Jamie Marie Bailey, his sister Betty, and his brother James.

Frank graduated from high school and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He drove a truck for over 40 years for Hunter Manufacturing until he retired in 2001.

Frank attended church at Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, Ohio, and also Upper Sandusky Nazarene Church with his wife Phyllis.

For hobbies Frank enjoyed singing, making stained glass pieces, woodworking, painting, and drawing when he could.

It was Frank's wishes that there would be no funeral services.
