Evelyn "Evie" Hall - Case Obituary

Evelyn “Evie” Hall-Case, age 89, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on at 9:29 PM Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Westbrook Assisted Living & Memory Care in Upper Sandusky.

 

Evie was born on November 20, 1930 in Upper Sandusky to Clarence M. and Helen M. (Wilson) Pagnard, both of whom are deceased.  She was married to Donald L. Hall on March 30, 1952 and he passed away on January 7, 1993.  Evie later married Philip Case on December 30, 1999 and he passed away on January 1, 2013.

 

She is survived by a son Joe (Kris Fulscher) Hall of Amherst, Colorado, and a daughter Laura (Jurgen) Haspelmann of Bielefeld, Germany, along with 2 grandchildren Edward and Leni Haspelmann.

 

Evie is also survived by her sister in laws, Joyce Pagnard and Barbara Pagnard both of Upper Sandusky, and a brother in law, Bob Zimmerman of Nevada.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and siblings, John, Mary Oman, Jay Dallas, Charles, Daniel, Howard, Karl, Martha Gerber Zimmerman, Allen and Thomas.

 

Evie was a the school secretary at Upper Sandusky High School for 35 years having played a part in many of the students’ lives throughout her years there.

 

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church, both in Upper Sandusky.  Evie also served for 16 years on the Upper Sandusky City Council and was a member of the Usando Literary Club and the Alpha Tri Sigma Sorority, both in Upper Sandusky.

 

Evie will be remembered for her love of her family and grandchildren.

 

Funeral services for Evie Hall Case will be held at 11:00am Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Wessler and Tom Baker officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

 

Visitations will be held on Friday 2 hours before service time, from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wyandot County Council on Aging and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio  43351.
