Edward Pete McLaughlin

Edward “Pete” McLaughlin, age 77, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away on December 8, 2021 at ProMedica Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bucyrus.

He was born on August 20, 1944 in Lima, Ohio, to Harry and Margaret (Alsept) McLaughlin, both of whom are deceased.

Pete is survived by a son, James (Michelle) McLaughlin of Nevada, a daughter, Donna (Kevin) Charlton of Bucyrus.   5 grandchildren, Kody, Brooke, Derek, Kasey and Dylan, and 4 great grandchildren, Korbin,  Karson, Karter, and Charlotte. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly McLaughlin,  2 brothers, Jackie and Phillip, and a sister, Gladys “Sue” McLaughlin, and with twin brothers who died in infancy.

Pete had worked for the former Claycraft Brick in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies he enjoyed cutting wood, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral services for Edward “Pete” McLaughlin will be private.
