Douglas D. Arnold, age 70, of Norwalk, and formerly of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Fisher-Titus Hospital in Norwalk.
Doug was born on November 11, 1950 in Kenton, Ohio to Robert Wayne and Mary (Needles) Arnold, both of whom are deceased. He married Elizabeth “Jane” Burks and she passed away on November 12, 2008.
He is survived by his daughter Angie (Jim) Lehman of Franklin, Ohio. Grandchildren, Jacob Lehman, Caitlyn Frizzell, and Elizabeth Lehman, along with 4 great greatgrandchildren.
Doug is also survived by a sister, Sherry (Dan) Graham of Columbia, Tennessee, and a brother, Eric (Charity) Arnold of Marseilles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a son Douglas P. Arnold.
Doug was a 1969 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to serve in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Upon returning, he worked for the Wyandot County Engineers Office Highway Department for many years.
He loved to read, fish, garden and feed the birds, along with following the Cleveland Browns.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will take place at Fehl Cemetery.
Visitations will be held 3 hours before service time, from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Tuesday.
