Dennis “Bull” Stansbery Jr., age 50, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Marion General Hospital.
Bull was born on December 9, 1970, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Dennis Stansbery Sr., and Rickie Francis (Brown) Stowe.
Bull is survived by his fiancée, Bobbie Gullett of Marion, his son Brock McDaniel of Fredericktown, and his four step daughters: Haley Warren, Kaley Warren, Kelsey Warren, and Chelsie Gullett all of Marion, and his grandson Hunter James Ayers.
Bull is also survived by his parents: Rickie Francis (Verne) Stowe of Marseilles, and Dennis (Janet) Stansbery Sr. of North Carolina brothers: Jeremy (Ashley) Stansbery of Findlay, Troy (Mariah) Stansbery of Little Sandusky, and Verne Ray Stowe Jr. of Bucyrus, sisters: Susan (Mark) Holzwart of Upper Sandusky, Raquel (David) Messmer of North Carolina, and his step sister Laura Jean Brown of Upper Sandusky.
Bull was preceded in death by his grandparents Fred and Mabel Stansbery Sr.
Bull was formerly a security guard for the Marion Blue Racers, and later was a bouncer at the Mad Bull in Bucyrus, Bottoms Up and Someplace Else in Marion, and most recently worked at Rent-A-Center in Marion.
Bull attended Timothy Lutheran Church in Marion, and enjoyed going fishing, playing pool, and listening to music – especially old school hip-hop music. He was also an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Bull also loved spending time with his family and friends.
A funeral service for Dennis “Bull” Stansbery Jr., will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home and will be officiated by Pastor Allen Stansbery. Visitations will be held from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm prior to the service.
