Dennis Wayne Cooper

Dennis Wayne Cooper, age 71, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 8:36 pm at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Dennis was born on August 17, 1951, in Kenton, Ohio to Franklin and Betty (Shaw) Billock, both of whom are deceased.

He is survived by his sons: Steven Billock, Wesley Billock, Cody Lamberjack, and Tanis Cooper, and daughters, Karen (Mitch) Murphy, Amber Ballash, Kendra Pelfrey, and Elora Cooper, along with 10 grandchildren, and a sister Ruth Miller of Wharton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Joseph Billock, and a sister, Shiela Parks.

Dennis was an avid gardener and also sold produce when in season.

For hobbies, he enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, gardening, playing on the computer, and especially enjoying his children, and grandchildren.

Graveside services for Dennis Cooper will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Wharton, Richland, Union Cemetery, Wharton, Ohio, with Pastor Jake Reel officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wyandot Memorial, Wyandot County Council on Aging, or the Wyandot County Veteran Service, and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
