Betty Farrow Obituary

Our beloved Mom, Betty L. Farrow, 94, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.

 

Betty was born on March 30, 1927 in Wyandot County to Jay and Nellie (Alban) Myers.  She married Bennie Franklin Farrow on June 23, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio, at the Broadstreet Methodist Church and he passed away on August 4, 1994.

 

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Koehler of Findlay, Ohio, and Connie (Craig) Marshall of Hiawassee, Georgia, and a son, Bob (Cleta) Farrow of Nevada.  Along with five grandchildren, Andy Farrow, Brandon Koehler, Clara Marshall, Colin Marshall, and Shelia Jewell, and six great grandchildren. 

 

Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Paul Myers, and a son in law, Mike Koehler.

 

Betty graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1946.  Prior to being married, she worked at GE in Bucyrus, where she met her husband.  While married, Betty and Bennie first lived in Sulphur Springs, Ohio, then moved to Sycamore, Ohio, and afterwards permanently settled on their farm in Nevada, Ohio.

 

Betty was a devoted mother and homemaker. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Some of her interests included cooking, and doing crossword puzzles.  She attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky, with her daughter Connie.

                                               

A private memorial service with the family will be scheduled at a future date.
