Arlene L. Parsell

Arlene L. Parsell, age 90, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 9:11am at the Wyandot County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.

Arlene was born on September 19, 1930 in Upper Sandusky to Lawrence and Natella (Morris) Heffelfinger, both of whom are deceased.  She married Robert “Bud” Parsell on July 17, 1948, and he passed away on December 23, 2010.

She is survived by a daughter Diane (Jeff) Grossman of Upper Sandusky, a son Gary (Jean) Parsell of Upper Sandusky, as well as, 7 grandchildren, Stacy Wilson, Amanda (Mike) Burkett, Megan (Nolan) Frey, Matt (Mindy) Parsell, Sarah (Bill) Knapp, David (Kristin) Gibson and Ann (Troy) Osborn and 20 great grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by 2 sisters, Dorothy (Marion) Karg of Upper Sandusky, Leah (George) Stephan of Belleview, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters, Beulah Yeater and Gladys Yeater.

Arlene was a homemaker and helped her husband Bud with the family business Parsell Plumbing & Heating for many years.

Her hobbies included sewing, rose gardening, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services for Arlene L. Parsell will be private with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

There will be no public calling hours.
