Anna R. Patchett, age 82, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Marion, Ohio.
Anna was born on March 21, 1938 in Greenup County, KY to Raymond and Mary Alice (Nunley) Smith, both of whom are deceased. She married Daniel E. Patchett in 1956 and he passed away on December 6, 2006.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Cindy (Chuck) Dutton of Marion, Nettie (Tracy) Bollinger of Upper Sandusky, and Robin (Keith) Montgomery of Upper Sandusky, and a son Daniel Patchett of Upper Sandusky. 10 grandchildren: Jamie (Joe) Byrne, Trey (Lorie) Dutton, Jenie (Chris) Mundy, Dana (Bryan) Swartz, Dani (Phil) Lininger, Bre Anna(Brian) Slone, Keith Jr. (Lana) Montgomery, Chasity (Jason) Moore, Heather (Albert) Brodman, and Spencer (Brittany) Patchett, along with 23 great grandchildren.
Anna is also survived by a brother Ray (Diane) Smith of Harpster, and a sister, Sarah Hough of Harpster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sisters, Carmaleda “Carmie” Sayre, and Stella Schoenberger.
Anna was a 1956 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and later went on to receive her real estate and then her brokers license. She sold real estate for Town & County Realty Estate, Bill Wood’s Realty of which she purchased and began Anna Patchett Realty serving Wyandot County for many years, before working part time for Doug Walton Realy.
She was a lifelong member of the Upper Sandusky Church of the Nazarene where she was a pillar of the church being involved as a trustee, Sunday School Teacher, board member, Praise team and song leader, and played an integral part in the start of Ladies In Fellowship Together.
Anna also enjoyed traveling and shopping for antiques.
She will be remembered for her faith, the love of her church and community, and most of all her family. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for Anna R. Patchett will be held at 2:00pm Monday, August 3, 2020 at the Upper Sandusky Church of the Nazarene with Pastors Eric Anderson and Ben Gregory officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 2, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home and 1 hour before service time on Monday at the Nazarene Chruch.
