Z. Gale Beck, age 84, of Morral, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 6 at 1:50pm at the Kingston Residence of Marion, Marion, Ohio.
Gale was born on December 3, 1926 in Little Sandusky, Ohio to John T. and Effie (Shuster) Rasey. She married Don E. Beck on August 4, 1945 in Greenup, Kentucky and he survives.
Gale is also survived by one son, Michael (Sue) Beck of Mt. Gilead, one daughter, Donna (Robert) Ferguson of Marion, six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a sister, Pauline (Bud) Roberts of Clermont, Florida, a sister - in - law, Merna Rizor of Marion, and several nieces and nephews.
Gale graduated from Harpster High School in 1944 and then Marion Business College where she was in the first graduating class for LPN's at Marion General Hospital in 1958. She worked for over fourteen years for various doctors at the Smith Clinic and also worked in real estate for a time.
Gale was a faithful member of Grand Prairie Baptist Church for the past ten years and previously a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Marion.
Gale loved traveling and camping with her 'feller' and her Boston Terriers and also enjoyed spending time with, and cooking for, her family, reading, sewing, and gardening.
A private graveside service will be held at the Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge, Ohio with the Pastor Gene Parker officiating the service.
