Yoko Snodgrass

Yoko Snodgrass, age 75, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away at 11:14 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.

Yoko was born on May 7, 1947, in Okinawa, Japan, to Shoko and Tsuru (Tahara) Nakandakari and they preceded her in death. Yoko was married to Randy Snodgrass on May 7, 1973, at Nevada United Methodist Church, and he survives in Nevada, Ohio.

Yoko is survived by her 2 sons: Scott (Dawn) Snodgrass of Urbana, Ohio, and Steve (Jamie) Snodgrass of Arizona, 5 grandchildren: Selina, Summer, Sarah, Ria, and Erica Snodgrass. Yoko is also survived by her sisters: Tsuyako Hyatt, Setuko Hyatt.

Yoko was a homemaker and stayed home to raise her 2 boys. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Yoko was a long-time member of the Okinawa Tomo No Kai of Ohio and she enjoyed playing her sanshin (Japanese guitar).

There will be no public services at this time.
