William "Bill" Carl Beltz Jr.

William “Bill” Carl Beltz Jr., age 55, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Avita Health System Hospital in Galion.

Bill was born on February 13, 1971, in Kenton, Ohio, to Diane M. (Penwell) Beltz. Bill married Stephanie Gardner on July 2, 1998, and she survives in Nevada.

Bill is also survived by his children: Alicia (Ryan Schell), Gage (Adrianne Peck), Kyle (Ashley Cramer), grandchildren: Paisley, Mason, Weston, Raelynn, Lincoln, Remi, Stetson, Kayson, and Ember, his siblings: Robin (Roberto) Cornejo, Tim (Stacey) Beltz, Dawn (Bob) Cramer, and his best friend Rob Abbott.

Bill was preceded in death by his mom, and 2nd mom and dad, George and Cathy Abbott.

Bill graduated from Wynford High School in 1989, and worked in maintenance at Altercare in Bucyrus for many years.

Bill was a Volkswagen lover, avid hunter, and loved decorating for Halloween, and the Grinch. Bill enjoyed a glass of white milk with fudge rounds. Bill especially enjoyed competing in the demolition derby in his earlier years, and later on enjoyed watching the derby’s with his boys. Family was very important for Bill. He loved spending quality time with his kids.

A funeral service for William “Bill” Beltz Jr. will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Pastor John Kibler. Visitations will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Friday before the service.
