Wendy Sue Bess, age 47, of rural Harpster, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 7:16pm at her home surrounded by her family
after a courageous battle with cancer.
Wendy was born on August 12, 1965 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Alvin and Charlene (Barth) Lawrence, both of whom are deceased. She married Carlos D. Bess on May 11, 2001 in Upper Sandusky and he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Taylor J. Stanley of Upper Sandusky and a
grand daughter Emma Stanley also of Upper Sandusky. Along with her brothers, Mark Hahn of Findlay, Donald Hahn of Lakeland, Florida, Tony Lawrence of Kingsville, Missouri and Tony Hahn of Findlay and 2 sisters, Tammy Lawrence of Independence, Missouri and Theresa Lawrence Independence, Missouri
Wendy worked for 27 years for Uni-Grip in Upper Sandusky.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate Wendy's Life on Friday, September 7, at the K of C Fellowship Hall in Upper Sandusky from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to Oncology Department of Wyandot Memorial Hospital and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
