Walter C. Scott

Walter C. Scott, age 77, of North Robinson, Ohio, died at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio at 11:46am Wednesday, April 7, 2010. He had been in failing health for past several months.

Walter was born on November 3, 1932 to Walter & Irene (Wagner) Scott Sr. both of whom are deceased. He married Carole Wyeth in September of 1951 and she survives in North Robinson.

Also surviving are two sons, Nelson (Kathy) Scott and Daniel (Kim) Scott both of Bucyrus, two grandchildren Levi Scott and Joshua (Jessica) Scott, and two great grandchildren, Sarah and Hannah Scott all of Bucyrus. Along with a brother Clifford (June) Scott of Sycamore, and 2 sister in laws, Gertrude Scott of Upper Sandusky and Shirley Elliot of Morral.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers William and Warren and 2 sisters, Mary Schirack ad Dorothy Scott.

Walter retired after 30 years from Swan Rubber in Bucyrus. He also had worked
as a sheepshearer for many years. He was a member of the Church of God in Bucyrus,
and was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the 101st. Airborne. He was an avid sports fan, following the Buckeyes and in Nascar, Kurt Busch. But his first love
was his family, his wife, sons and grandchildren.
