Walter L. Roszman

Walter L. Roszman, age 83, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed
Away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 12:05am at the Wyandot County
Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Walter was born on September 13, 1927 in Wyandot County, Ohio to Albert and Blanche (Walter) Roszman both of whom are deceased. He married Leona (Williams) Roszman on November 9, 1945 in Carey, Ohio and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

He is also survived by two sons, Eugene A. (Sheila) Roszman of Upper Sandusky, and Dennis J. (Thia) Roszman of LaRue, Ohio, two daughters, Nancy Lahr of Upper Sandusky, and Jane Dunn of Upper Sandusky, Thirteen Grandchildren, Sonja Lahr, Nathan Lahr, Natalie (Ted) Esposito, Chad (Kim) Roszman, Celeste (Mike) Ashbrook, Angela (Greg) Radabaugh, Douglas Liles, Jeffrey Liles, Danielle (Kip) Luikhart, Jaime Roszman, Josh Roszman, Brittany Roszman, and Jacob Roszman, ten great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.

Walter is also survived by two brothers, Adam (Marilyn) Roszman of Upper Sandusky and Howard Roszman of Upper Sandusky, and one sister Clara (Robert) Nachbar of Upper Sandusky.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Don Roszman, Roy Roszman, and Charles Roszman, and one sister, Ruth Fox.

Walter was a lifelong farmer in Mifflin Township.

A Memorial Service for Walter Roszman will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 7:00pm at the Lucas- Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Mary Curtis officiating.

Visitations will be held on Friday, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
