Virginia I. Liebenthal, age 82, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 3:51am at The Toledo Hospital.
Virginia was born on May 8, 1932 in Seneca County, Ohio, to Preston and Zora (Mowery) Payne, both of whom are deceased. She was married to Thermon "Tink" Ruch, and he is deceased. She then married Franklin D. Liebenthal on June 25, 1988 and he survives.
She is survived by 5 children: Gene A. (Trudy J.) Ruch of Riverview, Florida, Julia A. (Troy A. ) Heflin of Upper Sandusky, Michael E. (Mary K.) Ruch of Kenton, Lisa M. (Jim L.) George of Upper Sandusky, and Jeffrey W. (Tina) Ruch of Plymouth, Ohio. 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by a sister, Rosalee and 3 brothers, Leo, Walter and Daryl.
Virginia was a homemaker and a faithful Witness of Jehovah for over 50 years.
She enjoyed flowers, singing, playing piano, and the great outdoors. Always a lady - wife, mother, and friend - she will be greatly missed.
A memorial service for Virginia I. Liebenthal will be held at 2:30pm Saturday, May 2, at the Kingdom Hall in Upper Sandusky.
