Virginia R. Frederick, age 89, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio
died Friday, November 14, 2008 at 4:04am in Wyandot
Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Virginia was born on September 18, 1919 in Upper Sandusky to Russell B. and Carrie (Strub) Hare, both of whom are deceased.

She married Carl "Red" R. Frederick on July 5, 1946 in Upper Sandusky and he died March 6, 1997.

Virginia is survived by a daughter, Janet R.( David) Wobser of Findlay, Ohio, and a son John R. Frederick of Sycamore.

She is also survived by 2 grandchildren: Joshua R. (Jayme) Frederick of Sycamore; JoAnne R. Frederick of Upper Sandusky. 2 great grandchildren: Zackery and Erika Frederick of Sycamore. Along with a brother, Leo Hare of Bucyrus and a sister, Helen Ann Hare of Upper Sandusky.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Hare and a sister, Martha Gillespie.

Virginia was a homemaker and a former member of the John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky. She enjoyed
both flower and vegetable gardening, bird watching and cooking.

Funeral services for Virginia R. Frederick will be at 10:00am Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with burial following at Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be on Sunday, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and 1hour
before service time on Monday at the funeral home in Upper Sandusky. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandot Memorial Hospital and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
