Viola May Albert

Viola May Albert, age 83, of Findlay and formerly of
Upper Sandusky and Marseilles, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 6:06am at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio.

Viola was born on July 14, 1925 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Harry M. and Stella Mae (Maliffsky) Thompson, both of whom are deceased.
She married Robert C Albert on April 9, 1944 in Kenton, and he died on December 30, 1996.

Surviving are 2 sons, Robert F. (Joy) Albert of Pickerington, Ohio and Ronald W. Albert of Findlay, along with a daughter, Barbara (Gene) Kimmel of Findlay. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Kelley Weyer, Allison (James) Jeffers, Robert L. (Melissa) Albert and Ryan (Deanna) Albert, and 7 great grandchildren, Chase Albert, Samuel Albert, Maxwell Albert, Benjamin Albert, Kayla Weyer, Brandon Weyer and Paige Jeffers.
And a brother, Harry M. (Jill) Thompson Jr of Oklahoma City, OK also survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers, Dwight, Lloyd, Wayne, Charles and Frank and a sister Gail Thompson.

Viola was a homemaker and affiliated with the Marseilles United Methodist Church. For hobbies she enjoyed baking, riding her bicycle with her husband, and her cat Toby.
She also loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Funeral services for Viola May Albert will be held on Wednesday, June 24, at 11:00am at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with burial taking place at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitations will be Tuesday, June 23, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
