Vicki L. Sessler

Vicki Lynn Sessler, age 69, of Upper Sandusky, died of natural causes on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Vicki was born on February 1, 1956, to Eugene Anspach and Patricia (Tuorrey) Patterson. She grew up in Forest, Ohio with her mother, Patricia and father Eugene Anspach, along with her siblings Sheree (Phil) O'Neil, Greg (Cheryl) Anspach, Kim Anspach (deceased) and Lori (Steve) LaMont. Vicki also had two half siblings, Paul (Taylor) Anspach, and Genia (Charles) Kelley. Later in life she was blessed with a stepfather Ross Patterson, and step siblings, Susan (Ed) Haymaker, Kate (Mark) Garn, Mike (Dawn) Patterson, Gary (Beverly) Patterson (deceased).

Vicki met Kevin Ray Sessler by chance, through the events of a NASCAR race and they were married on August 4, 1986. They had two daughters, Brittany (Tom) Kost, and Brooke (John) Walker, and 3 grandchildren: Adysen Hughes, Easton Walker, and Salem Walker.

Vicki attended school at Riverdale and then Upper Sandusky High School, where she graduated from in 1974. She worked at Whirlpool in Findlay until her retirement and then spent her time gardening, doing puzzles, crafting, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She was an avid sports fan including NASCAR, Cleveland Browns football, Guardians baseball, and Cavaliers basketball.

Vicki was a smart, talented, funny, loving and compassionate wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first and will be missed dearly.

A funeral service for Vicki Sessler will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Pastor Steve Sturgeon.

Visitations will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Friday, prior to the service.
