V. Carol Sanderson

V. Carol Sanderson, age 84, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2022.

Beloved wife of William (deceased). Loving mother of William (Barbara) and cherished grandmother of Taylor (Martin) and Ian (Maria). She was born on June 12, 1938, in Harpster, Ohio. In 1957, she moved to Tucson, Arizona to wed her high school sweetheart, William Sanderson. Following his sudden death, Carol moved back to Upper Sandusky to raise her son.

Carol earned her Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting and Finance from Ashland College while working full time for First Citizens Bank and United Church Homes. After retirement, she moved to Avon Lake to be closer to her grandchildren. She was a dedicated volunteer with the Lorain Red Cross, Avon Lake Library, the Alzheimer's Association and AARP. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Private Service and Interment will be held at Little Sandusky Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
