Troy A. Quillen

Troy A. Quillen, age 55, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Troy was born May 8, 1967, in Dennison, Ohio, to his father, John (Beverly) Quillen of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and his mother, Georgia Quillen of Gnadenhutten, Ohio.  He married Terri Durbin and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

He is also survived by his children: Hunter, Alyson, and Ian Quillen, and Jake, Alex, and Mallory Wheeler, along with his granddaughter, Blaire Quillen.

Troy is also survived by his brother Travis Quillen of Mansfield, his sister, Tracie (David) Beckett of Newcomerstown, Ohio, his father-in-law David Durbin, his brother-in-law Steve (Kari) Durbin, his sister-in-law Karen (Scott) Schaffner, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Cheryl Durbin.

Troy was a 1985 graduate of Claymont High School and he went on to Ohio Northern University and graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy. He was currently working as a pharmacist for Drug Mart, and previously for Rite Aid for many years.

A visitation for Troy A. Quillen will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Terri Quillen, to establish a college fund for the children. Memorials may be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
