Tonya L. (Mosley) Mullet

Tonya L. Mullet, age 44, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at her home in Mansfield.

Tonya was born on November 18, 1977, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Leon Mosley and Deborah (Murrell) Slagle and they preceded her in death. Tonya was once married to William Mullet Sr. and he survives in Attica, Ohio.

Tonya is survived by her 8 children: Billy (Johni) Mullet of Attica, Neil (Kisha) Mullet of Attica, Sam Mullet of Bloomville, Danny Mullet of Attica, Becca Mullet of New Riegel, Caleb Mullet of Attica, Ethan Mullet of Attica, and Xzavier Newson of Republic, 5 grandchildren: Hannah, Matthew, Emma, Zendaya, and Neil Dean. Tonya is also survived by her siblings: Neil (Heather) Mosley of Bucyrus, Emmanuel Slagle of Bucyrus, Amanda (José Vasquez) Mosley of Willard, Leannza Mosley of Willard, and Jannette Bush of Republic.

Tonya was preceded in death by her significant other Eddie Newson.

Tonya attended Wynford High School and Seneca East High School. She was a stay-at-home mom – raising her 8 children.

Tonya was a very determined person and stood her ground no matter what. Wherever she went she left an imprint. She loved decorating, cooking, dancing, making jokes, collecting knickknacks and dolphins. She enjoyed going camping and taking pictures so that she could capture the moments. She loved going for walks where she would enjoy the flowers, spend time feeding and watching the wildlife in parks, and talking about the good things in life.

Most of all, Tonya loved spending time with her friends and family – especially her grandchildren, she was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother.

A funeral service for Tonya will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Pastor Dave Spradlin. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations for Tonya will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
