Tom Andrews

Lester Tom Andrews, age 66, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at 1:03 PM on Monday, October 10, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio.

Tom was born on February 14, 1956, in Hawthorne, California, to Lester R. and Rosemary (White) Andrews. He was once married to Carlene Heath, and she survives in Tennessee.

Tom is survived by his children, Jason Andrews of Mississippi, Lewis Decker, Kimber (Mark) Anaya both of Sacramento, CA, and Rob Combs of Upper Sandusky, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Anne Feeley of Upper Sandusky, Jeannie Linford of Loudon, TN, brother Jack Andrews of CA, and his brother in law Jim Melton.

Tom was preceded in death by his son Christopher Andrews, sister Doris Melton, brothers in law Pat Feeley and Ron Linford, and sister in law Donna Andrews.

Tom attended Upper Sandusky High School and then served in the U.S. Army.

Tom worked at the Pfeifer Dairy Farm in Bucyrus, Ohio, for several years which he really enjoyed. He attended John Stewart UMC more recently.

Tom loved going fishing, watching old western movies, going to the Wyandot County Fair, and going to car shows.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Harrison Smith Park in Upper Sandusky, at the White Shelter House on the north side of the pond. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM at the park following the celebration.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the James Cancer Center and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
