Thomas W. Miller, 75, of Upper Sandusky, died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his residence.
Born April 22, 1939 in Upper Sandusky, he was the son of the late Robert D. and Margaret I. (Walters) Miller. He married Sylvia R. Armstrong on March 17, 1963 in Upper Sandusky. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2010.
Surviving are three children: Natalie A. Johns of Hilliard, Nanette M. Baas of Dublin, and Michael D. (Leslie) Miller of Grove City, 7 grandchildren: Zach, Jared, Jack, and Matthew Johns, Nick and Mandy Niederkohr, and Owen Miller, and a sister, Susan K. Shepherd-Warfel of Upper Sandusky.
He retired from AEP in 1998 after 41 years of service.
Tom was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky. He was a 50 member of Warpole Masonic Lodge 176, McCutchen Chapter 96 RAM, and Upper Sandusky Council 98 R & SM all of Upper Sandusky.
He had a love of cars and was a charter member of Wyandot Classics and Cruisers in Upper Sandusky.
Family and friends will be received from 2 - 5 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Trester officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery near Upper Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County or Wyandot Memorial Hospital in care of the funeral home.
