Thomas R. Fox, Sr

Thomas R. Fox, Sr. age 74, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 9:06am in Marion General Hospital, Marion, Ohio.

He was born of September 2, 1940 in Carey, Ohio, to George and Ruth (England) Fox, both of whom are deceased. He married Selma Clark on September 28, 1991 in Patterson, Ohio, and she survives.

Thomas is survived by 2 daughters: Sharon (Earl) Pelfrey of Forest, and Christine Bayless of Bucyrus, and 11 grandchildren.

Thomas is also survived by 2 sisters, Sally (Orville ) Burton of Upper Sandusky, Gert (James) Gault of Patterson, and 2 brothers: George (Rose Marie) Fox of Findlay, and Chuck (Kathy) Fox of Kenton.

He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Fox Jr. and a grandson.

Thomas was a welder retiring after many years of work.

He was a member of the Wharton First Church of God.

For hobbies, Thomas enjoyed
going to flea markets, garage sales, doing yard work, woodworking,
going on trips to Amish country, and spending time with his family.

Funeral services for Thomas R. Fox Sr. will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. David Odegard officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Friday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
