Terry L. Loubert, age 68, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio.
Terry was born on August 12, 1957, in Upper Sandusky, to Charles and Beverly (Miller) Loubert.
Terry is survived by his wife Teresa Loubert, of Findlay, 2 daughters, Victoria Loubert of Kenton, Katherine (Phillip) Hernandez of Florida, 3 sons, Jason (Heather) Berger of Maryland, Shawn (Chelcie) Berger of North Baltimore, OH, and Ryan Berger of Findlay, 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Terry is also survived by his brothers, Charles (Diane Dewiel) Loubert of Upper Sandusky, Chris (Misty) Loubert of Findlay, and Gary Howard of Middletown, OH.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Debra Shuster, infant daughter Stephanie Loubert, son, Dustin Berger, 2 sisters, Tammy Bower and Shiela Howard.
Terry attended school in Upper Sandusky and went on to work as a mechanic for Hardin Motors in Mt. Victory, and for many different garages over the years.
How to describe Terry, he was a very kindhearted, generous man. Who didn't hesitate to lend a helping hand. He loved to work on anything, if it was broken Terry was determined he could fix it and get it going again. It could be a car, boat, lawn mower, four wheeler or weed eater, Terry would get it done. Terry was a loving husband, father,grandfather and great grandfather. He was also a loving son, brother, cousin, uncle and dear friend. Anyone who Terry admired he loved full heartedly. Terry enjoyed traveling the US, following the two children in the military. His favorite destination was Great Falls, Montana. He enjoyed going fishing, camping, and boating on Indian Lake, family reunions, and holiday gatherings. He played the role of Santa for Christmas. He was a car enthusiast, he could tell you the make and model of any car. He loved his dogs throughout the years, and loved watching his Ohio State Buckeyes.
Terry had been battling Lung Cancer for almost a year after diagnosis. He fought the good fight until the very end.
Visitations for Terry will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, and a service will be held at 12:00 pm following the visitations. Burial will follow at La Rue Cemetery.
