Terry L. Koehler

Terry L. Koehler, age 55, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 2:51pm in the Emergency Room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Terry was born on September 10, 1954 in Upper Sandusky, to Ivan and Dortha (Baker) Koehler both of whom are deceased. He was first married to Susan Smith. . He then married Phyllis Creamer on December 15, 1984 in Upper Sandusky, and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

Surviving Terry are a son, Jeff (Emilee) Koehler of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, three daughters, Kristi (Bryan) Swartz of Upper Sandusky, Jenny (Duane) Ham of Nevada and Laura (Tim) Lewis of Harpster, Ohio. Ten grandchildren, Scott, Ashlee, and Hannah Lewis; Dylan and Sydney Ham; Alyse and Braxton Swartz; Jeffrey, Xavier, and Leland Koehler.

Terry is also survived by three brothers, Tim (Karen) Koehler of Upper Sandusky, Lon (Anna) Koehler of Upper Sandusky, and Al Koehler of Columbus, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sally Shull.

Terry has been employed since 1972 with the Kimmel Corp. in Upper Sandusky as a route driver. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, the Amvets #777, and was one of the Color Guards for Upper Sandusky High School football.

Terry loved Nascar, the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Indians, and most especially The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was in his fourth year as an usher for all home games. He spent those Saturdays tailgating with his buddies Martin Rall, Larry Culver, Andy Koehler, and Rob Suttle. And no matter what the season, you would find Andy, Larry, & Terry at breakfast at the Corner Inn. He enjoyed bowling, and playing softball for many years and he loved his family and grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Terry L. Koehler will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio with the Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Visitations will be held from 4:00pm - 8:00pm on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
