Terry M. Green

Terry M. Green, age 82, of Castro Valley, California, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Terry was born in Monterey, California, on November 19, 1941, to Charles Harold and Nyla Jane (Beck) Green. Terry moved to Marion, Ohio, with his parents in 1956.

Terry is survived by his cousin, Carol Hickman of Ohio, and his close friends and neighbors, David and Maggie Staub of Castro Valley, CA.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents.

Terry graduated from Pleasant High School in 1959, Terry received his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University in December of 1964. Terry went on to enlist in the United States Airforce where he served from 1965 to 1985 until he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. While in the Air Force, Terry received his M.S. degree from the University of Arkansas. After retiring from the Air Force, Terry spent his remaining working years with the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) from 1986 until 2016 managing the accounting audit division.

Terry was a member of the Nevada Northern Railway, Porsche Club of America Inc., and Air Force Veterans.

A graveside service for Terry Green will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Grand Prairie Cemetery, 4964 Brush Ridge Dr. N. Marion, OH 43302, where military honors will be conducted.
