Susan K. Adkins

Susan K. Adkins, age 75, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 in the Emergency Room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Susan was born on October 22, 1944 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Voyle and Kathryn (Kirby) Brown, both of whom are deceased.

She is survived by 2 children: Tammy (Rick Furniss) Adkins of Marion, and Brian Adkins of Upper Sandusky.  4 grandchildren Jason (Chanda) Adkins, Tony (Christina) Adkins, Jeremy Adkins, and Brandy Adkins, along with 5 great grandchildren, Jason II, Chevea, Cora, Chevy and Hayley.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Paul, Jack and James.

She was a 1962 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to work for the former Bob and Shirley's Restaurant, Dairy Mart, and Liqui-Box, all in Upper Sandusky.

Susan was a former member of the Moose, Eagles and Amvets in Upper Sandusky, and also Emmanuel United Church of Christ.

For hobbies she enjoyed listening to Elvis, going to craft shows, flea markets, garage sales, shopping and spending time with the grandkids.

Funeral services for Susan K. Adkins will be held at 11:00am Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
