Steven Frederick Schaadt

Steven Frederick Schaadt, age 54, of Harpster, Ohio, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, in Harpster.

Steve was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on July 1, 1966, to John F. and A. Darlene (Cottrell) Schaadt.

Steve is survived by his three children: Anthony Schaadt, Steveé Schaadt, and Maegan (Joshua) Bentley all of Upper Sandusky, a step daughter Gabby (Sam) Holtman of Chicago, three grandchildren: Zooey, Hawk and Sophia Bentley. Steve is also survived by his father, John Schaadt of Harpster, his sister Lisa (Doug) Kelly of Upper Sandusky, and his three dogs: Buddy, Canuck, and Syd.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother A. Darlene Schaadt.

Steve graduated from Upper Sandusky High School – Class of 1985 and went on to attend The University of Northwestern Ohio, Ohio where he graduated with his Associate's degree in Automotive Technology. Steve went on to work at Tower Automotive for many years and worked at Cooper Tire until he retired in 2018.

Steve was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion, Ohio.

Steve loved spending time with his grandchildren and spending time on the family farm. He had a passion for guns, riding his Harley, going hunting, and he was an avid car enthusiast.

A funeral service for Steve Schaadt will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at 4:00pm at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Rev. Mark Schuring.

Visitations for Steve will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm prior to the funeral service on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions for Steve may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society and can be sent to Lucas-Batton at 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
