Stephony E. Soule

Stephony E. Soule, age 78, of Forest, Ohio, passed away at 10:30 pm on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Upper Sandusky.

Stephony was born on July 2, 1946, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Robert and Martha (Dreyer) Preble. She was once married to Charles Bartholomew, and then married to Jerry Soule on May 27, 1994, and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2023.

Stephony is survived by her daughters: Andrea (Rich Seifert) Fairchild of Upper Sandusky, Dawn (Mark) McQuown of Upper Sandusky, and Jodi (Walt) Stuermer of Rochester Hills, Michigan, 8 grandchildren, Amber Davis, Rachel (Matt) Nye, Brendan Fairchild,  Riley (Eric) McQuown Shafer, Delaney (Collin) McQuown Brown, Lyndsey McQuown, Drew Stuermer, and Sydney Stuermer, great granddaughters Ellie Nye and Daisy Shafer, soon to be great grandson Baby Davis, 2 sisters, Sandy Maistros and Sue Martin, both of Tiffin, and her sister in law Jean Grove of Upper Sandusky.

Stephony was preceded in death by her father, Robert Preble, mother Martha Stalter, stepfather Jack Stalter, and her husband, Jerry.

Stephony graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1964 and went on to attend Owens Community College where she received her associate's degree in business. She went on to work at Whirlpool in Marion, Millington Plastics in Upper Sandusky, and finished her working career at Westinghouse/AO Smith where she worked as a material coordinator for 36 years.

Stephony enjoyed spending time outside tending to her garden, reading, shopping, going sailing in her earlier years, traveling for work and for fun, crocheting, and quilting. Stephony had a love of animals, especially her cats and dogs, and she loved cardinals.

A graveside service for Stephony Soule will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Pastor Steve Sturgeon.
