Stacey L. Gottfried

Stacey L. Gottfried, age 45, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 4:10pm at her home surrounded by her family.

Born February 14, 1968 in Upper Sandusky, she is the daughter of David L. and Carolyn A. (Tiell) Hehr. Her mother survives in Upper Sandusky.

Surviving are her children: Brittany A. Gottfried and Evan E. Gottfried, her companion of 8 years, Jerry Davidson, brother, Fred S. Hehr, and a sister, Ann M. (Kyle) Davidson all of Upper Sandusky.

A 1986 graduate of Upper Sandusksy High School, she was currently employed at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky as a STNA. She had also worked at Gottfried Electric and Kalmbach Feeds both in Upper Sandusky.

Stacey enjoyed the various seasons, whether it was planting and tending to her flowers in the summer, or enjoying the snowflakes in the winter, she loved them all.

She will be remembered for always putting others needs before her own, her motherly instinct, and most recently, her courageous battle with cancer. And we will never forget her gentle kind heart and beautiful smile.

Family and friends will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8pm Friday, December 20, 2013 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky where a scripture service will be held at 7:45pm.

The funeral service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. J.R. Hadnagy OFM Conv. officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery near Upper Sandusky.
