Shirley A. Carr

Shirley A. Carr, age 84, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 1:50am at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on July 29, 1932 in Wyandot County, Ohio, to Forest and Sarah (Walton) Shellhouse.
Shirley is survived by a son, Gary Carr of Bucyrus, daughters: Dian Hufford of rural Tiffin, and Debra Carr of Upper Sandusky, a grandson Kenny (Kadia) Hufford of Columbus, and granddaughter, Crystal (Derrick) Meade of Forest. Along with a great grandson Justin Hord and a brother Richard (Janet) Shellhouse of Shelby.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael and Steven, and a sister Beverly Yelchak.
Shirley was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith, having previously attended Nevada United Methodist Church.
For hobbies she enjoyed doing crafts such as cross-stich, and plastic canvas, along with following the Indians, Browns and Buckeyes.
Graveside services for Shirley A. Carr will be held at 11:00am Friday, January 13, 2017 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Sycamore, with Steve Sturgeon officiating.
